Abstracts must be submitted in English through the ACTC Meeting\u2019s official website:\u00a0www.actc2027.org<\/a>.
Abstracts will be selected on scientific merit. An individual can submit one or more abstracts as a presenter or first author.<\/p>

All abstracts, regardless of whether they are submitted for oral or poster presentations, will be reviewed to appraise the quality of the work presented. The Scientific Committee will evaluate all abstracts submitted for presentation. The authors will be notified regarding acceptance of their abstracts and the type of presentation by\u00a0June 15th<\/sup>, 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Submission Guidelines and General Policies<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Before accessing the submission form, please make sure that you have prepared your abstract according to the following guidelines:<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Language:<\/strong>\u00a0All abstracts should be submitted and presented in English, which is the official language of the Meeting, using accurate grammar and spelling suitable for publication. If in doubt, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a native English speaker or by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility) before submission, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proofreading will be done.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Corresponding Author:\u00a0<\/strong>The abstract submission form should be completed by the Corresponding Author, who will be responsible for all future communications regarding the submitted abstract.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Account:\u00a0<\/strong>Each submitter (Corresponding Author) is required to create a user account indicating an account email address and a password. The email and password indicated will be used for all online forms of the Meeting (i.e. Registration Form).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Abstract Title:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Abstract title should be brief and reflect the content of the abstract<\/li>
  • The abstract title should be typed in lowercase letters, except for abbreviations and study names. Please be careful that your title might be truncated if you copy and paste it into the field.<\/li>
  • Do not refer to study results or conclusions in the title of the abstract. The title should objectively describe the study.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Presentation type:\u00a0<\/strong>Authors are invited to express their preference for oral or poster presentation; the final assignment will be made by the Scientific Committee.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    Topic:\u00a0<\/strong>Authors are invited to select the topic that better fits the scope of their abstract among the meeting topics; the final assignment will be made by the Scientific Committee.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Authors:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Names of authors should be written in upper\/ lower cases in the following way: {Full name with first letter in upper case (e.g. John)} {Surname (Family Name) with first letter in upper case (e.g. Smith)}<\/li>
    • Please enter the first name in full, followed by the surname (Family Name), for each author, without abbreviations (e.g. John Smith, and NOT J. Smith). The names, e-mail addresses and full affiliations of all authors should be entered.<\/li>
    • In each abstract can have a maximum of 25 authors<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

      Affiliations:<\/strong>\u00a0The Affiliation should be written in upper\/ lower cases and should include Department, Institution\/Hospital, City, State (if relevant), Country<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Text Body:<\/strong><\/p>

      • The text (excluding title, authors, and affiliations) should not exceed 350 words.<\/li>
      • Organize the abstract according to four sections, identified by the following headers:
        • Background<\/li>
        • Methods<\/li>
        • Results<\/li>
        • Conclusions<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
        • Do not include illustrations with the abstract.<\/li>
        • Place abbreviations in parentheses immediately after the first mention of a term or phrase; the abbreviation can then be used throughout the abstract.<\/li>
        • Table(s), Figures, and photographs may be included.<\/li>
        • Describe the objectives and results of the research in the abstract so that the Abstract Evaluation Committee can evaluate the quality, originality, and completeness of the abstract. Abstracts will be judged solely based on the data in the submitted abstract.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
          \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

          Replacing or correcting an abstract submission:\u00a0<\/strong>Do not resubmit an abstract through the online abstract submission platform. Do not submit the same abstract both through the website and regular mail. Any corrections should be made by e-mail to the ACTC Meeting Secretariat.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

          Registration fees\u00a0<\/strong>should accompany all abstract submissions. Presenters are expected to attend the ACTC Meeting and are required to pay the registration fee and all expenses involved.<\/p>

          The presentation of the abstract and its publication in the Final Program and the Abstract Book is conditional upon payment of the registration fee by the presenting author.
